Abraham Louis Perrelet was a talented inventor and watchmaker who completed his final masterpiece at the ripe age of 96. Louis-Frederic Perrelet was a watchmaker to three Kings of France and studied under Breguet. Their influence appears present in the company's current line, re-launched in 2005 with heavily decorated rotors, complex mechanisms and an impressive eye for detail.

Automatic movement, Power Reserve up to 42 Hours. Displays a Gorgeous semi Skeleton Dial Black Dial with Stick Index Silver Tone Luminescent Hours markers and Silver Tone Hands Luminescent Hours and seconds markers. Minutes markers around outer of the rim. Chronograph and Perpetual calendar , with four sub-dial located at 3,6,9 and 12 o'clock. Moon phase feature, 12-hour counter within a day indicator, 30- minute counter with a leap-year and month indicator and subsidiary seconds within a date indicator, Central Second Register with Anti-Reflective Sapphire Crystal, Exhibition Caseback, Pull and Push Crown. This particular model is one of the pride and joys of the the company, and with the Black Dial, it is absolutely stunning! Perrelet was the inventor of the automatic movement and to celebrate that fact, they took it a step further by creating an automatic watch which is powered by TWO rotors which work together, rather than just one. The amazing thing is that one of them can be seen on the front of the dial as well (and it actually works!) Spectacular! I my opinion! You can not go wrong with this addition in your collection.
