How Does it WorkWhat is Watch2Wear?
Watch2Wear is a marketplace where watch dealers, collectors, and private sellers can list and sell watches through auctions or buy-now sales.
The auction format allows sales to the highest bidder or accepts offers. Both options are available for each listing. The buy now format offers a fixed price with an option to accept offers.
How do I purchase a watch?
Create a free account to purchase a watch. There are no fees involved. Provide your shipping, billing, profile status (watch dealer or private seller), and PayPal information. After creating your profile, you can start buying watches. It's that simple!
What are my purchasing options?
When "bidding," "making an offer," or "buying now," the transaction is between the buyer and seller. Watch2Wear sends an email invoice to the buyer on the seller's behalf. The buyer pays via PayPal. After approval and payment receipt, the seller ships the watch. If the watch is not received, standard shipping insurance and PayPal policies apply.
How Do I Sell My Watch?
To begin, please create a free account. Once your profile is established, you may start selling your watches. Private sellers have the advantage of being able to list and sell their watches at no cost.
What is the Cost to List, Sell Your Watch?
For the watch dealer, the cost is 2% of the final sale amount. In contrast, the private seller incurs no listing or selling fee and is able to list and sell an unlimited number of watches.
Selling a watch on Watch2Wear's marketplace as a private seller is similar to selling a watch on a watch forum, but with enhanced benefits. Watch2Wear utilizes PayPal as its payment processor; therefore, PayPal transaction fees are applicable.
Both watch dealers and private sellers may utilize our "Bump" and "Featured" placement options to enhance the visibility of their listings.
Our "Bump" option places your listing at the top of search results. It matches the user's search criteria. For example, if a user searches for a Dive watch with a case size of 36mm to 39mm and your watch has a 38mm case, your listing will appear at the top. The "Bump" can also be based on brand or model. So, if someone searches for an Omega and your listing is an Omega Seamaster or Speedmaster, it will be shown at the top.
Another placement option is a "Featured" listing. The "Featured" listing option places your watch listing on Watch2Wear's Home Page at random intervals, providing increased visibility.
