Not many people have heard of the watch brand Vantage.
The Vantage Watch Company was launched in the 1960s by its parent company, the Hamilton Watch Company of Lancaster Pennsylvania.
At its time, Vantage watches were fully-jeweled and were poised to compete with Pin-Lever type watches for the price conscious individual; as their main competitor was Timex. It was Hamilton's main intent to compete and gain market in the highly competitive inexpensive priced watch market, which was dominated by Bulova's Caravelle.
