The featured watch describe is a Swiss made IWC Portuguese Split Second Chronograph Rattrapante IW3712-02, in polished Stainless Steel round shaped case measuring 41mm diameter. (Soft-iron inner case to protect against magnetic fields). Fixed Stainless steel bezel. Hand wound chronograph movement, power reserve up to ± 44 hours. Displays a Silver – tone dial with applied Arabic numerals markers, gold-tone Feuille shaped hands, indexes, minute track at outer rim. Split second chronograph. Small seconds at 6 o’clock, 30minute recorder at 12 o’clock. Pull / push stainless steel crown, pushers. Scratch Resistant Sapphire crystal, solid caseback. (Soft-iron inner case to protect against magnetic fields). This watch is extraordinarily well made and designed. IWC makes outstanding fine quality timepieces, which are elegant, classy and sophisticated. I personally love the pure and simple design of the dial. The dial is stunning and easy to read. The appliqués on the dial as well as the hands are finished with a gold tone coating ensuring outstanding legibility. The central chronograph hand shows recorded times elapsed minutes while the small gold tone hand in the subdial at “6 o’clock” shows seconds and minutes at 12 o’clock. The watch has an integrated split second function. This watch is powered with the IWC 76240 calibre. It gives the watch a power reserve of up to +/- 44 hours. Great watch. Great company.. I love function specific watches...
